lunch

In the heart of Grafton, Intruders Cafe Bar & Eatery is a cosy newcomer with a lively streak. This neighbourhood perch welcomes morning wanderers and weekday regulars alike, offering a warm, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

The menu leans into comfort with a polished touch. Start the day with roasted pumpkin soup served with sourdough or a toasted ciabatta topped with garlic and herb butter. Brunch options include eggs on toast piled high on sourdough or Nutella and pistachio waffles crowned with caramelised banana.

There are gentle global nods alongside classic favourites. Butter chicken with basmati rice and garlic naan offers a flavourful journey, while fish and chips and crispy chicken burgers satisfy big appetites. Sweet teeth are rewarded with crème brûlée or a fudgy chocolate brownie.

With its easy-going hum and menu that knows when to comfort and when to flirt with flavour, Intruders encourages guests to linger. Pull up a chair and let the food do the talking.
