We had a very warm welcome on arrival and provided a great location to enjoy views up to the sky tower. Service was prompt and thorough. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back. Thanks first table, has it not been for you we would not have discovered such a great spot to dine out in the city centre.

Lovely venue! The food was so fast & delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back.

Once we found the place it was excellent. The atmosphere is outstanding. Great to watch people jumping off the sky tower. Service was good from the moment we arrived.
Food was also outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place. The highlight was the savoury waffles oh and the desserts.

The venue is quite cool, best place to enjoy the breeze and warmth during sunny days. The food looked enticing but some were too oily for my liking (eg. Mussel fritter and potato skins). For main I ordered the Wagyu short rib, the taste was quite average didn’t really have the ‘melt in your mouth’ Wagyu taste. The highlight for me was the dessert, I ordered the Malibu panna cotta...delicious!

This i my second time at the Glass Goose, evidence that I enjoyed it the first time. The restaurant has a nice feel and the staff are friendly and accommodating. While there are gluten free options available, the chef was flexible enough to make minor adjustments to make the dishes I wanted meet my needs too. Thank you for that. A very pleasant night out.

We went there for an early-bird dinner. Food was good and service was excellent - very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Really great service and fantastic food. Would recommend trying their non-alcoholic cocktails - absolutely delicious and complemented the meal perfectly especially for the lunchtime meal. Glass Goose is perfect for sharing dishes but offers great 'big' dishes if you're not too keen on sharing. The staff are also really knowledgeable, so if you're after a recommendation or advice on the menu items, they're happy to help.

Had an amazing lunch at the Glass Goose yesterday. We were greated with a smile by our awesome waitress who was very helpful with menu choices. We ordered one of each off the small bites, the clams, the beef salad, duckfat potato skins and a side of brussel sprouts. My favs were the mussle fritter, pork belly and the clams were cooked perfectly and come with perfectly toasted bread to dip and scoop up the miso broth.

A hidden gem in the city with a great atmosphere. The food was amazing with lots of different dishes to try and the service was great. Would definitely come back here again.

I really enjoyed the vibe and decor of the location. We visited during a spring event, so they had the most magnificent (fake) cherry blossom tree which looked amazing.

The layout of the menu is more geared towards shared plates, and I think if you are a fan of fried food then it would be great. I personally enjoyed the cheese waffles, but we had also ordered the polenta which tasted a bit similar. The polenta did seem to lack flavour. Both dishes were of the fried variety so it ended up being a bit rich for us - ideally, I should perhaps have ordered a salad to balance it out.

Drinks were so cute! We each ordered cocktails from their spring blossoms range - the frozen lager was surprisingly delicious (and I'm not even a beer drinker). I loved the gin cocktail, it looked good and tasted better.

Service was great and very attentive, our server was absolutely lovely and kept checking up on us to refill glasses as needed.

Overall, I would definitely come back but perhaps might order mains instead of the shared plates.

Very attentive and great service, lovely atmosphere on the deck area outside which is beautifully decorated, and the food is so worth it through first table, been here twice now and been extremely satisfied both times!! Had various selections of both sharing plates and the smaller plates, all so yum :)

The service was great from the start, the food even better. It's easy to share the plates amongst friends so you can all enjoy the delicious delights that you order. The cheese waffles are a must-try - you won't regret it! It wasn't too busy (we went on a Tuesday) so it wasn't too loud and good for a catchup with a friend I haven't seen in a long time.

Our booking was for 11.45am on a wet Sunday. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a little while but then more tables filled up. We were amazed that such a gem is so well hidden away, literally just opposite the Sky Tower. We had a couple of the bite sized starters which were very tasty. Then we followed that with three share plates - brussel sprouts with bacon, cheese waffles and thinly sliced beef with coleslaw. All dishes were very tasty and filling - especially the waffles (it was a huge dish). Also enjoyed a wine and beer - all in all a very pleasant lunch. The waitress was amazing and so friendly and helpful.

Cool restaurant with cool decor and a cool location. We got to watch people doing the Auckland tower Sky Jump while chowing down on some seriously tasty eats. The menu has some good variety and is perfect for sharing while still filling you up. The lamb was especially tasty with drool-worthy crispy skin. Interior decor was very stylish and creative with a lot of greenery - lovely to spend lots of time around. This one is an absolute gem!

We ordered a number of dishes and loved them all. The chilli clams were a delightful start to our brunch. Accompanied by the pulled pork slider which had a slight crisp on the outside and mouthwatering meat in the middle. I was recommended the Wagyu short rib which had the qualities that you see in a dish on something like Master Chef. My partner enjoyed the market fish and our friend loved the lamb rump. The venue would be one of my favorites in Auckland, with the bar set up in the middle to tempt you just enough to try one of there many different types of liquor on display. This place is fantastic to show your friends one of the few hidden gems in Auckland.

We booked a table last minute for our work teams Christmas lunch and all the food was fantastic. Cocktails and wine were delicious and the service was fantastic! Such a great atmosphere with views from the rooftop looking up under the sky tower. We couldn't think of anything that we didn't like about our experience besides the arborist cleaning the exterior of the building which meant we got drizzled with water every now and then but the staff were nice enough to move us to table inside.
Thanks to everyone working last Friday and taking such great care of our team.

I have never personally thanked a chef until I ate at The Glass Goose. I was compelled to do so as I could see her create our dishes from the kitchen and because the flavors were exquisite. I highly recommende the oysters with watermelon and sparkling water! If it's a warm day and you're sitting on the covered terrace sipping cocktails...their flavour will transport you to the very best of summertime.

We really enjoyed the feeling of being inside a glass house in the middle of the city. The interior design and the mood feeling made the atmosphere really comfortable. We started by ordering a few drinks and the service was excellent. We ordered a few bites first: the chilli wagyu beef lettuce cup and the pork belly. These were small but really really good. We also shared a medium dish (beef brisket buns) and two sides of vegetables. All the food we had was delicious and we were left feeling full and satisfied. We'll definitely be back for more.

Friday evening at 5.30 was very busy, we got a table inside. Great service by Kate we have free still and sparkling water. We try a few of the bites like oysters, croquette, mussel fritter, pork belly cubes, haloumi salad , thinly sliced beef and also wagu rib to share. Mostly delicious except the walnut on the sliced beef wasn‘t good. Creme brulee and coffee were good too we were happy. The atmosphere and feel of the place was awesome. Will definitely be back.

We have been there on Friday night dine out. We had a fish of the market, Lamb and Beef rib. the food tastes good. will come back again.but just be careful to choose the seat either inside or outside advanced. Otherwise, they just leave you outside the seat which people might smoke at the lounge.

Came here on a wet Sunday midday with the boyfriend. The indoor seating area is really warm and spacious. Service was really personal and attentive.

Food is reaaaally good. I had the wagyu ribs and the boyfriend had the market fish. Very nice presentation and tastes good too. The only complaint we have is the portion size. To be really really blunt, I wouldn’t pay the full price for this portion. It may be more reasonably priced if it were in the $20 range.

Overall, the boyfriend and I are really pleased at having the opportunity to dine at The Glass Goose with First Table. Really started our day off right.

First time having lunch here and was VERY quiet. Think we were the only table there... lady greeted me soon as I arrived and let me take a seat in the courtyard area where they had a French theme going on. Anyways... she was very friendly and offered me choices of water. My mate turned up shortly after and we were presented menus. Noticed that when grabbing some napkins that there were some cigarette ashes inside some of them and some of the cutlery hadn't been properly cleaned, so swapped it from another table. Ordered the roast duck and my mate got the lamb, along with the potato fat skins as an entree. They came out shortly after and the potato skins were yummy! Our mains followed about 15 mins after and although they were nicely presented I thought the portions were a little small for my liking. The duck breast was about 3 tiny pieces of duck with lots of noodles and bok choy. Mate said his lamb was nice but still thought the portions could've been a little bigger for the price. Have no issues with the service as the ladies were both friendly and helpful. Didn't quite like the setup outside as it seems a little crammed, especially if others were there. Thank you for the experience!
