Enjoy twinkly lights and indoor gardens at this urban jungle of a restaurant! Designed to emulate the cool ambience of a glasshouse, the Glass Goose Bar & Eatery is a real oasis away from the bustle of Auckland.

Well-known for their contemporary and shareable dishes, the Glass Goose offers a modern menu for both lunch and dinner. From platters of cured meats and local cheeses, to pan-fried market fish and New Zealand lamb, there’s something to keep the whole table happy. If you simply can’t wait for the main course, try their smaller dishes, like the crumbed pork belly or potato cod croquette. Got a sweet tooth? Their dessert menu offers to-die-for treats, including a Malibu panna cotta, salted caramel whoopie pie and cardamom brulee.

As well as dishes everyone can enjoy, the Glass Goose is renowned for its picture-perfect cocktails and magical mixologists. Toast the evening from their rooftop bar with a Glass Goose Frozen Prosecco, a sweet, fragrant and zesty cocktail, garnished with flowers and a cloud of candyfloss. Delicious!

The cheese waffle was awesome as well as the lamb rump, eggplant chips were not my thing however. The staff was awesome! always checking up on us and even let us move to an inside table cause it was too loud&smoky at the outside tables. All in all, a good experience. Nice place for a work function//work drinks I'd say .

Went for Saturday lunch and it was very quiet but top-notch service, super attentive and friendly staff and the food was better than expected too! It came out very quickly, got the medium dishes first then the large dish which was perfect timing. Highly recommend the potato skins!!

We really enjoyed our meal at the Glass Goose. The Bites and Shared plates were imaginative and very tasty. The mains were generously sized and equally tasty. Not to mention the scrumptious desserts.

Highly recommended

Lovely experience, great service. Overall food was enjoyable. Unfortunately didn't realise the cauliflower cous cous was raw (might have missed reading this on the menu) and it was quite dry, but all other dishes were great with the polenta and lamb our favourites.

Sunday lunch at The Glass Goose surpassed our expectations - for both food and service. We liked the shared dishes and our family was able to sample many items on the menu. Special mention to the duck fried potato skins. polenta dish and the Wagyu short ribs. Desserts were also very good.

We had the best experiencing making or way through the menu. We all left extremely full and satisfied. We loved our first Auckland dining experience and highly recommend the culinary experience of Glass Goose

What an awesome find! I have been to the Glass Goose before for drinks and some nibbles but never had a propper dinner there. Everything about our booking through First Table was great. The seating area was comfortable and away from the main crowd having drinks so it mas a more chilled atmosphere. Our server was super nice and talked us through the menu so we knew what to order and portion sizing. We got the halloumi, baked pollenta, and chips with duck fat...what an amazing combination for two people and it was great that they had so many gluten-free options that still allowed us to share our meal. We ordered the pannacotta for dessert but luckily our server told us that the waiting time was longer than we could afford, as we were going to a show...we are definitely going back!
Thanks first table for an awesome night!

Lovely outdoor sitting area with a great view of the Sky Tower, and amazing food. We especially liked the thinly sliced beef, pork cheek, and potato waffles!! We will come back again for sure.

It was my second time visiting Glass Goose with first table.

The food was okay.

And the staff said oyster and clam are out of stock so we couldnt order.
Those two menu were one of things that we are going to order.
So it was very disappointing!

Cool restaurant with cool decor and a cool location. We got to watch people doing the Auckland tower Sky Jump while chowing down on some seriously tasty eats. The menu has some good variety and is perfect for sharing while still filling you up. The lamb was especially tasty with drool-worthy crispy skin. Interior decor was very stylish and creative with a lot of greenery - lovely to spend lots of time around. This one is an absolute gem!

Set back from the main road but absolutely amazing once in. The location is outstanding and the service commendable. The food was so good we even ordered double of the potato skins! The kitchen is open so you can view the chef in action and the cocktails are dangerously delicious! Back for sure!!

What an awesome place Glass Goose is. Tucked away on a roof top of sorts, close to all the action but hidden away at the same time. We had great food, great service and all at a great price. We will be back!

Food was lovely and a great range for veges and vegans! Portions are reasonably sized meaning you get get a few of each dish and share. Vegan dumplings in the chilli MO:MO are very tasty! Very good quality and very cheap. Service was a little slow as only 1 girl serving the whole place but she did an excellent job on her own.

Great location - right next to the Sky Tower. Glass roof on covered 'outdoor' deck - lots of plants and nice atmosphere. Lovely food - lots of tasty surprises. Loved the 'bites' - small tasters. Good range of drinks including cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails. Thank you for a great night out.

I ordered the tarakihi fish meal. The fish was excellently cooked but the sauce that was served with it was so overpowering that I couldn't even taste the fish, or any other component. However my daughter had the market fish meal which was superb! The lamb meal was again well cooked but the sauce that accompanied it was too potent, that it ultimately detracted from what could have been a great meal. Service was excellent but would we dine there again? Probably not.

Enjoyed an absolutely fabulous lunch here - crispy, duck fat roasted potato skins and wagyu beef that simply melted in your mouth. The staff were so accommodating of our time constraints (going to see a matinee show) and the service was prompt and professional. Will absolutely be coming here again to linger for a lot longer!

Delightful gem in the heart of Auckland. Their bite sized meals were so delicious! I loved how we could choose several different types and try various flavours. My favourites were the crispy pork bite and the chocolate marquis!
The service was also excellent. I will definitely be back

The food was absolutely fantastic - we both really enjoyed and would love to dine here again. Service also excellent. Only comment would be that the food come out incredibly quick - it would have been good to have a break in between each dish. Still would highly recommend The Glass Goose for anyone. Thanks.

Probably not the best first table experience we have had. Pleasant setting.
Food was good on the whole. The sesame fish was ordinary and came on cous cous which wasn't described in the menu.
The starter oysters were mainly missing. Only 5 left and those were tiny. Credit to the restaurant for removing them from the bill.
We asked for 3 types of bubbles from the list but all were out of stock. We gave up and switched to a Sav !
The Wait person said they had had a big night before and were sold out of a few things.... The wait person was also unskilled but maybe she was a learner for a Sunday lunch or maybe she was just exhausted from the big sold out night before.
I guess we have been spoilt by our other first table choices so I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back...oh and yes all cards are charged 2%.....
