Cuisine: A La Carte, Japanese, Seafood
Price Point: Mains from $10 - $20

The Yakitori House is proudly what it says on the tin and it's cooking up a storm with traditional izakaya and yakitori plates.

This food is made for sharing so get your best people together for a night of tempura, skewers and deep-fried dishes that'll have your mouth watering the moment you step inside. Settle in for a sensory overload in their super cosy dining room and don't be surprised if you brush shoulders with the other diners! Seat yourself under the soft glow of a Japanese lantern and get into the upbeat vibes that characterise this soulful eatery.

Perhaps they are magicians judging by the artistry behind their starters. The plates may be small, but they seem to hold every ingredient under the sun! Take their tofu salad or takowasa that are like little capsules of explosive flavour. If you're a seafood head, opt for the scallop frills or lobster salad that elevate these exclusive ingredients to new heights.

Let's take a look at the main event... the yakitori! Think chicken is limited to the breast and thigh? Think again! You've got everything from chicken liver and chicken knuckles to chicken heart. And it's not all about chicken either – there's beef tongue, pork belly and teriyaki salmon to get those taste buds tingling. Then there's sushi, sashimi, tempura and donburi... too many delicious offerings to recount so you'll have to take our word for it!
