dinner

In Ponsonby, Mudita leans into the soul of Malaysian comfort, reimagined with contemporary clarity. The menu reads like a love letter to coconut, spice and texture, inviting diners to linger over familiar flavours given a thoughtful twist - and it's all 100% vegan!

Big bowls bring the warmth. The nasi lemak leans into rich coconut rice and savoury depth, with a choice of rendang chicken or mushroom that rounds it out. The laksa arrives as a spiced coconut broth made for slurping, layered with noodles and generous bites, all humming with aromatics and gentle heat.

Grazers are well served, too - crispy sambal potatoes bring crunch with a slow-building kick, while fried oyster mushrooms carry a fragrant, savoury edge.

To finish, mochi waffles play to both comfort and curiosity - kaya and butter melt into pure silk, while apple pie lands as a warm-and-cool finale with just the right touch of sweetness.

Ready to explore the softer side of spice in Ponsonby? Book a table, bring your appetite, and let Mudita do the rest, one slurp, crunch and satisfied sigh at a time.
