Step into the vibrant atmosphere of El Sizzling Chorizo and experience the true flavours of Argentina. This traditional restaurant, nestled just steps from Ponsonby Road, offers a unique culinary journey.

Established in Ponsonby in 2012 by a native Argentine couple named Corradino and Celeste, El Sizzling Chorizo's goal was to recreate the relaxed smoky vibe of an Argentine barbeque joint. A decade later, this charismatic restaurant is bursting with regulars hankering for the culinary comfort of flavoursome meat.

With a focus on authentic wood-fired Argentine barbeque, El Sizzling Chorizo uses traditional charcoal and firewood grilling techniques to infuse its meats with a smoky, rich flavour. The menu features classic Argentine dishes like juicy steaks, savoury empanadas, and flavorful chorizo.

Experience the vibrant atmosphere, savour the authentic flavours, and immerse oneself in the heart of Argentine cuisine at El Sizzling Chorizo.
