High tea – a delightful indulgence with roots in the mid-1700s – is a quintessentially British tradition that has been embraced and reimagined around the world. For an unparalleled high tea experience in Auckland, look no further than Cooke’s Restaurant & Bar at The Fable Hotel.

Cooke’s signature menu revives beloved classics from the 1920s, such as warm savouries and sandwiches. Think lemon glaze scones with raspberry and rosewater preserve, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

The high tea menu features a symphony of sweet and savoury pleasures, like caramel macarons and dark chocolate silk with lemon curd, salmon tataki with soy and ginger glaze, and grilled chicken sandwiches with dried apricot and mango chutney. Gluten-free and vegan choices are available upon request.

Beyond the culinary delights, Cooke’s offers an impressive selection of beverages. The restaurant boasts an exclusive range of Dilmah signature teas, as well as the exquisite Louis Roederer champagne to elevate your afternoon.

While high tea has evolved over the centuries, Cooke’s remains true to the indulgent spirit of the original tradition.
