About the Role

Due to a period of significant and exciting growth, we have the exciting opportunity for a Head of Data to join our team based in Queenstown, New Zealand.

As our Head of Data, you will be responsible for harnessing data for business performance enhancement. This pivotal role drives growth, improves product functionality, and optimises performance across B2C and B2B initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing all data management aspects, focusing on B2C performance enhancement and B2B lead generation.
• Providing valuable and actionable insights to Sales, Marketing and other teams through analytics, scalable tools and metric monitoring.
• Utilising Python (pandas, requests, Beautiful Soup) to manipulate, adjust, create, and measure data from various sources, ensuring actionable insights and strategic growth.
• Designing and building systems to enable deeper data analysis and product functionality in future.
• Database Development, employing your skills in MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Designing and maintaining dashboards for commercial and operational teams.
• Automating report generation, delivering key marketing insights to stakeholders.
• Leading test ideas and team efforts to optimise conversion rates, driving significant business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data management, with a strong background in both B2C and B2B environments.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data science, including proficiency in Python (pandas, requests, Beautiful Soup).
• Intermediate experience in database development, specifically MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools and dashboard creation.
• Adept at analysis, insight dissemination, and marketing automation.
• Skilled in customer insights gathering, conversion rate optimisation
