Reviews

Service was warm and welcoming. Staff was professional and importantly, very knowledgeable and were able to advise us on how each dish was cooked and the best temp for our meat. Atmosphere was cosy. Very nice experience whether you are on a date or family outing. We had the mussel with laksa and they were fresh and the broth was flavorsome. We also had the scallop, and venison, both tender and cooked to perfection. My venison was medium rare as advised (I am normally a medium person), and the meat was tender melt in the mouth. Would recommend

Delicious and full of flavour. Every dish was generous in size and presented beautifully. Love the setting and styling of the place too. I could have eaten the breakfast special with pastrami all over again. Banana bread was melt in your mouth soft and paired so well with lemon curd. Coffee is excellent too. I'll be coming back here next visit to Queenstown and recommending it to friends

Greeted by friendly, smiling staff and offered drinks before happy hour ended. Fab menu with some great choices and some tough decisions. After a mix up with our order my partner ended up with wrong meal. It wasn't the end of the world as it was a dish he had considered anyway (the lamb). What was wonderful was our waitress Sarah's response. She was very apologetic, fessed up to her mistake instantly and shouted him a drink by way of apology. This was more than enough and we were happy with the food and service we'd received. She, and the chefs, then go a step further by sending out the original pork dish he ordered anyway so we didn't miss out. After 3 incredible dishes I forced myself to squeeze in a dessert too and wasn't disappointed with the sticky toffee pudding. The whole meal and experience was wonderful and we will absolutely be back as well as recommending to friends. Great atmosphere, cool decor and Sarah is an absolute gem!

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, they are a credit to the business.
The vegan curry was brilliant and it is very refreshing to have a vegan main that is interesting and tasty, many restaurants offer a token vegan dish that is bland and usually along the lines of a plain salad so I would certainly be back for this dish.

10/10 would go again! Amazing food, service and experience. Ribeye was cooked to perfection by a very talented chef and the dessert deserved a round of applause. Not only was the food out of this world but the waitresses and other staff were just awesome! 100% will be visiting again soon!

Amazing, cosy spot for a delicious breakfast in Queenstown. My wife and I opted for a table right in front of the fireplace that made our time there that much more comfortable as we both admired the beautiful decor interior. My wife had the big breakfast and I got the breakfast special of the day. Both plates were extremely generous and made with quality ingredients. We left with with satisfied belly’s and hope to return before we leave Queenstown. The service was attentive and very friendly: kudos to the waitress who had to deal with the difficult table next to us but remained professional and friendly. Couldn’t fault anything with Ivy and Lola’s Kitchen.

Great spot right by the waterfront. The breakfast was impeccable and the Big Breakfast was tasty and on the point. Friendly service. It was busy whenever we passed it through various points of the day, which speaks for itself.

Why haven't I been here for dinner before! The menu is exciting and the food amazing. The staff and service are super 5 out of 5! For seafood lovers i highly recommend the scallops entree and for the main sole and fennel. Definitely be coming back to try more.

Awesome meal with a very inviting atmosphere, friendly staff and attention to detail. We had to go back yesterday. All meals were exceptional especially the pancakes . The chef is keeping the recipe a secret. Compliments to chef and staff.

Was great to sit outside on a beautiful sunny evening at the waterfront. The service, food, wine, ambience and atmosphere was second to none. We enjoyed the squid and seafood chowder for starters and sole for mains. All was cooked to perfection. We certainly be back :)

OMG! The food was incredible specially the entree, which was the Scallops! Then I had the rib-eye steak which was also delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ivy and Lola's was outstanding. Loved the quirky decor, the big fire and our cosy nook in the corner. Also, for someone with a hearing disability, this one one of very, very few places whose acoustics were not bad and whose music didn't dominate to the extent that conversation was a struggle.
And, the food-yummy!! The shared duck entree was moist, tender and delicious. My wife loved her 3 hour cooked steak and the variety and flavours in the middle eastern lamb dish were beautiful.
Service was perfect-friendly, attentive but not overwhelming.
Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our experience here! Every dish was super tasty ( we tried the scallop starter and seafood chowder and slow cooked steak). Very enjoyable experience can highly recommended. Thank you!

Ivy & Lola's was a nice dining experience. The atmosphere and ambiance was unique, in a good way. The food was amazing and plenty of all kinds of different flavours that were well blended together. The service was attentive, and we were greeted in a polite way, there was a bit of a mix up when we were paying the bill, but they were really nice enough about it to explain twice (Sorry about that) :)

A quirky pub with interesting vintage decor. A warm cozy environment with fabulous food but definitely not your standard deep-fried pub food. Fresh, beautifully presented meals. Cosy fire indoor or outdoor dining and views to the lake Would highly recommend
