We walked into Brew and were instantly greeted and offered a choice of table. Once we were seated water was immediately brought to our table along with the menu. We were given time to look over this and didn't feel rushed to order our food and drink. Our food arrived (we both ordered the steak so as not to get food envy!) and it was cooked to perfection. My partner was able to change his side order without an issue. It was a wonderful meal with outstanding service and we would definitely highly recommend Brew for its food, atmosphere and service. Oh and the chocolate brownie was to die for!!!!!!! :-)

Best little wine bar/restaurant we have found. Sits about 20 people at one sitting so fir dinner I suggest u book. I am GF & the variety of food available is wonderful. I had blue cod on a sweet potato sour dough bun, delicious. My husband had a medium rare steak & frits. Dessert- all GF, lemon tart with doris plum ice cream, oh boy it was delicious & a mish mash? With berries & crushed meringue & cream & coffee was good also. Most definitely worth a visit. A+

The Brew Cafe & Bar is a small, extremely friendly and relaxed venue with wonderful friendly staff who offered us a lovely evening. It is no surprise that there are many locals who come in (going by the familiar greeting they received) and with the cosy setting, it is easy to chat to the friendly folk around or not - depending on what takes your fancy.
The food was absolutely fabulous. We ordered a bread and dips starter which was delicious - the bread was fresh and truly fabulous. Hubby ordered a fish and chips meal and I ordered the steak - both of which were great. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and really good sized portions. The steak was melt in the mouth and the fish was fresh and full of flavour too. Against our better judgement, we did order the NY Chocolate Brownie with salted caramel sauce and ice cream - I have never seen a Brownie beat hubby but it did! It was too nice to not eat and out of pure greed, we tried to finish it off to no avail.
Thank you for a lovely evening with great food, service and ambience. Its truly delightful to find a nice place that is not in the central city but just far enough to feel you're not in the thick of it!

A little bit privileged to be the very first First Table guests at The Brew last night. Really lovely staff with super friendly service. At no time felt rushed even though the place is obviously a busy favourite amongst locals; with the cosy warm room, ambience and perfect temperature beer it's easy to see why! Difficult to choose from the menu as it all looked so good. My partner knew she couldn't manage the delicious Potato and Leek soup as well as a main and dessert, she finally settled on the Pulled Pork Nachos which she really enjoyed. I had the Beer Battered Blue Cod (3 pieces) which was very tasty with chunky hand cut chips. Dessert for both of us was the Chocolate Brownie with salted Caramel sauce and Vanilla Bean ice-cream - YUM!!! The whole experience was super and we'll definitely be back! Thank you The Brew team - a fabulous "First Table" literally! :)

What a great place to have a meal in, yes it's a small quant building but the meals are lovely.
3 of us had steaks and they were cooked to perfection.
The drinks were also quick to arrive at our table too, all up a Top Meal combined with Top Service.
We will return.

Been to Brew Bar several times before. It’s always been great food, and it was again last night. Very generous portions, my wife’s steak was cooked perfectly and the batter in my fish was superb! Also a mention to the friendly and attentive waitress. Will most definitely be back again, and again!
