Affordable prices with great service. Our favorite place to visit for a family dinner. Lots of yummy options for all. Lovely large meals that were piping hot. The schnitzel was really tasty and cooked perfectly. Lamb hot pot was delicious with yummy sauce and freshly cooked. We enjoyed the special for dessert of lemon curd cheesecake it was delicious! Wonderful value for money and would recommend for everyone. We will be back again !!!

Hubby ain't easy to please... but he sure enjoyed his tucker here. Good ole hearty soul food cooking here where everything tastes homemade. We were getting all kinds of nostalgic feels . Service was very down to earth. Nothing over the top. A good ole kiwi welcome. A buzzing little pub hub on entry and then a private little dining area off to the side that was cosy and warm. 5.30 is a good time to go on a Friday ahead of the crowd. Id recommend booking a table ahead. Good for families and kids. A lady got in comfortably with her motorised wheelchair. We will dine here again. Thanks Londoner.

The service is friendly and warm.

The food options are good enough for anyone.

Our choices were a first class prawn cocktail, Windsor Blue mushrooms, then our main was the blackboard special which was gurnard, arancini calls and Greek salad. All so filling. Beautifully cooked and presented.

Recommend Londoner. Absolutely.

Fabulous. Great food - huge portions. Attentive and friendly staff. Dining room completely British, even down to the double decker bus salt and pepper shakers. We were seated by the window, right next to the prettily decorated Christmas tree. Definitely recommend. Thank you.

What a gem in the heart of Taradale's main street! Friendly welcome from front of house upon arrival and we were impressed by the menu. Plenty of choice including a kids menu. Ordered the lamb hotpot and mash which was piping hot and a massive meal. Partner had the nachos which were big enough for two! Kids fish and chips went down a treat. Recommend to anyone looking for a hearty meal. Loved the touch of UK decorating the walls. Will be back!

I loved this place! The theme goes well with the food and the service was spectacular.
The chicken schnitzel was incredible, and so filling that I couldn’t even fit in dessert!
This one is definitely a must-go-to. I’ll be booking again soon (I have to try their desserts!), that’s for sure

My partner and I had a lovely meal last night. We started with the cheesy garlic bread which was just yummy. I followed with the steak, mushroom sauce, jacket potato and salad. He had the pork with bubble and squeak. Both our meals were perfectly cooked. We then ended with the delicious chocolate brownie. We were well looked after by Sue.Will be back 10/10

Very enjoyable meal at The Londoner. My steak was well cooked, and the sauce was tasty. My partner thoroughly enjoyed her chicken burger. Good atmosphere in there on a wet winter evening.

Very hearty meals, was a cold night but we were soon warmed up with steak and chowder. We hoped there would be some colouring in stuff for the kids which there wasn't, but in saying that the meals were out pretty fast so not much time to get bored anyway.

We both really enjoyed our meals once again, & will definately return. I had the steak with mushroom sauce & jacket potato with salad. The steak seemed bigger, I thought, than the 250gms indicated in the menu, & delicous. My hubby chose & really enjoyed the beautifully made steak pie with mash, not regretting not getting the steak as planned. We finished with the apple pie & ice cream. I asked for some liquid cream to go with it & it was heaven. Numm. Thank you.

Unbelievable, awesome place, definitely going back next time in Napier. You guys rock thank you

Food was delicious, and the management was friendly but the wait staff weren't very attentive and hardly said a word, as well as I felt that their policies let them down, I asked to swap the salad with my main for the seasonal veg, which cost the same on the 'extras' price list, they flat out refused which is odd and I had to buy the vegetables as an added extra, which was a shame, and my son ordered an adult's meal but wanted the child's meal burger as an extra but we were forced to buy the entire meal. I think they could accommodate their customers in a better manner to ensure that they come back again rather than focusing on making an extra buck on the night. It did feel like we were treated rather second rate and that's sad as I was really hoping to make this my local but after this experience I wouldn't be keen to return

A great place to celebrate my dad's birthday! We were all happy with our meals, the service and the atmosphere. The portion sizes were enormous and the food cooked well. Very comfortable seating and a col spot on a boiling hot day! I'd definitely go again and recommend anyone who would like a hearty pub-like meal.
