Overview of Key Points

1. First Table customers must make six bookings on the First Table website from 1 June 2021 to 31 August 2021 to qualify to enter for this Prize. This is a bookings Promotion by First Table Limited. 
2. Redemption period: Entrants must be able to travel to Queenstown from Friday 17 September 2021 to Sunday 19 September 2021 to redeem the prize. A full itinerary of the trip has been finalised, which will be presented to the winner. 
3. Entry is open to First Table users in New Zealand over 21 years old who comply with the entry mechanism. 
4. If the Winner lives in Queenstown, or if the Winner is located within driving distance of Queenstown, an alternative experience will be negotiated for the flight portion of the prize at First Table’s discretion. The Prize becomes a staycation, instead of a vacation or trip to Queenstown. 
5. The prize is designed to be enjoyed by two people. So the winner can bring along a plus one of their choice.
6. How to keep track of your bookings: Head to your profile icon (top right) and click the reservations tab to see how many restaurants you've dined at during the promotion period. If reservations are cancelled, the booking does not count against the total of six bookings required to go in the draw. If reservations are reported as no shows, the Entrant will not be eligible for the prize.

Full Terms and Conditions

Introduction

1. Please see the full terms and conditions for our Campaign – Home of First Table by First Table Limited. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below. For the avoidance of doubt, ‘You / the Contestant / the Entrant’ means the person entering into this Promotion.

Promotion

1. The Campaign (Home of First Table) is a New Zealand-wide promotion created by First Table (www.firsttable.co.nz) and is supported by Stay Here, Thrifty, NZSki, Nadi Wellness, Blue Kanu, Winnies Gourmet Pizza Bar, City Cave and Ivy & Lola’s.
2. This Home of First Table Promotion is focused on encouraging food lovers to discover new restaurants this winter through restaurant discovery website First Table. First Table customers must make six bookings on the First Table website from 1 June and 31 August to qualify to enter.
   

Promotion Period

1. The Promotion commences on Tuesday 1 June 2021 at 7am NZST and closes on Tuesday 31 August 2021 at 11:59pm NZST. All entries (First Table bookings) must be received by the closing time frame as stated to be eligible for entering the draw. 

 Promoter

1. The Promoter of the Campaign is First Table Limited. The Promoter collects the contact information of the entrants, whereby the entrants make a First Table booking on the First Table website (www.firsttable.co.nz).

Eligible Entrants

1. The Campaign is open to First Table users in New Zealand who are over 21 years old (as there is a rental car as part of the prize) and is void where prohibited by law. The Campaign is subject to all applicable NZ laws and regulations. Incomplete or incorrect entries are not eligible for the Prize. 
2. This Campaign Prize is open to those that comply with the entry mechanism. The entry mechanism is First Table customers must make six bookings on the First Table website from 1 June to 31 August 2021 to qualify to enter for this Prize.

Odds and Decision

1. The odds of winning depend on the number of First Table customers booking a First Table breakfast, lunch or dinner at participating First Table restaurants during the Campaign period.
2. In order to be considered for the prize, the Entrant must have a First Table account and book six or more reservations at participating restaurants across New Zealand within the 3 month time period.
3.  All bookings are to be made from the same First Table account and can't be combined across multiple First Table accounts registered to the same user.
4. The First Table marketing team will choose the winner randomly from the pool of entrants who have made six bookings and accepted the terms and conditions. 
5. Their judgment is full and final and non-negotiable.
6. If reservations are cancelled, the booking does not count against the total of six bookings required to go in the draw.
7. If reservations are reported as no shows, the entrant will not be eligible for the prize.

Agreement to Rules

1. By participating, the Contestant agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of First Table Limited as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.

How to Enter

1. If you have not already registered for a free First Table account on www.firsttable.co.nz, that is the first step to enable the entrant to make First Table bookings.
2. A First Table booking costs $10 for a table of two to four people, which gets the user 50% off the food bill. The campaign must be entered by making a total of six bookings from 1 June 2021 to 31 August 2021 to go into the prize draw. Those with five or fewer bookings in the Campaign period are not eligible to be in the draw for the Prize.
3. Once this booking threshold has been met, First Table Limited will contact the Entrant to complete their entry by formally accepting the full terms and conditions of this Promotion. 
4. The entry must fulfil all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of First Table Limited. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of First Table Limited.

Number Of Entries

1. Entrants make six bookings on the First Table website to get one entry into the prize draw. Multiple entries from the same person will not be accepted into the Prize draw. 

Prize

1. The prize must be redeemed from Friday 17 September 2021 to Sunday 19 September 2021. 
2. The Winner of this Home of First Table Campaign will receive a Queenstown package from the following businesses, worth NZD $4000: 
3. First Table – return flights for two people from New Zealand domestic terminals: Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, up to the value of NZD $1500 including taxes and charges
4. If the Winner lives in Queenstown, or if the Winner is located within driving distance of Queenstown, an alternative experience will be negotiated for the flight portion of the prize at First Table’s discretion. The Prize becomes a staycation, instead of a vacation or trip to Queenstown. 
5. Stay Here (accommodation) – two nights accommodation at the Marina Apartments for two people for the nights Friday 17 September 2021 and Saturday 18 September (valued at NZD $1000). Check-in on Friday 17 September is at 3pm, check out on Sunday 19 September is 10am.
6. Thrifty (car rental) – A Risk-free Car Rental Package from Friday 17 September 2021 to Sunday 19 September 2021 for collection from Thrifty Car Rentals at Queenstown Airport. The Winner and their plus one must be over the age of 21 and must provide a full NZ drivers licence (valued at NZD $500).
7. NZSki (ski field operator) – Lift passes, gear and ski (or snowboard) hire for two people at The Remarkables or Coronet Peak for one day during the redemption period (valued at NZD $318). 
8. Nadi Wellness (yoga studio) – a 60-minute couples massage experience at Nadi Wellness (valued at NZD $270).
9. Blue Kanu (restaurant) – a First Table dinner experience on Friday 17 September 2021 including drinks (valued at NZD $200).
10. Winnies Gourmet Pizza Bar (restaurant) – a First Table dinner experience on Saturday 18 September including drinks (valued at NZD $200). 
11. City Cave (wellness centre) – A Flauna sensory float and sauna package for two (valued at NZD $198).
12. Ivy & Lola’s (restaurant) – a 1 Table breakfast experience on Sunday 19 September (valued at NZD $80). 

Prize Special Conditions 

1. The prize is to be used between two people. So the winner can bring along a plus one of their choice to enjoy the prize with them. 
2. The winner and the person travelling with the winner are required to take out travel insurance for the duration of their trip, with cover for snow sports. First Table and its associated agencies and companies; Stay Here, Thrifty, NZSki, Nadi Wellness, Blue Kanu, Winnies Gourmet Pizza Bar, City Cave and Ivy & Lola’s will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or willful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). First Table reserves the right to request proof of valid travel insurance to the standard required, including full details of any policy.

4. Any resale of the prize in its entirety, or part thereof, is prohibited. The prize, and any elements of the prize, are strictly non-transferable.
5. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash or a substitute prize.
6. If, for any reason beyond First Table’s control, elements of the prize cannot be redeemed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather conditions), the winner will forfeit this element of the prize and will have no claim against First Table or any participating venues and partners.
7. Spending money, meals, porterage, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs, unless otherwise specified in the prize description, are not included.
8. Unless otherwise expressly stated, prize values are based on the recommended retail prices at the time of first publication of these terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date in September 2021.

Winner Selection and Notification

1. The First Table marketing team will manage the selection of the winner by random computer selection.
2. Entrants that have made six bookings and confirmed their entry by accepting these terms will be in the final prize pool.
3. The Winner will be notified by 2 September 2021. First Table Limited shall have no liability for the Winner’s failure to receive calls, however, First Table Limited will email the Winner if they cannot make contact on the phone. First Table Limited shall have no liability for the Winner’s failure to be contacted via email due to spam notices, junk email or other security settings or for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner fails to claim the prize within three days from the time the first phone call was made, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.

Claiming Prize 

1. First Table Limited will provide the Winner with a full itinerary of their trip from Friday 17 September and Sunday 19 September. All passes and experiences associated with the prize have been pre-booked with the sponsors so details on how to redeem each portion of the prize will be provided in the itinerary. Relevant contact details for each sponsor will also be provided.
2. First Table Limited will send the Winners contact details to each sponsor so the pre-arranged bookings can be updated with the Winners full name and contact details. The Winner should receive booking confirmations from each partner once this has been updated. The Winner must redeem the prize on the days and times listed in the itinerary or this portion (one experience) of the prize is otherwise void.
3. First Table Limited will book the return flights to and from Queenstown on behalf of the Winner and their plus one. The flights are permitted from New Zealand domestic terminals: Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
4. If the Winner lives in Queenstown, or if the Winner is located within driving distance of Queenstown, an alternative experience will be negotiated for the flight portion of the prize at First Table’s discretion. The Prize becomes a staycation, instead of a vacation or trip to Queenstown. 
5. The prize is not transferable to any others. The Winner must be in attendance, with their plus one. 
6. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any NZ taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the Winner is permitted. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for First Table Limited to use the Winner’s name, or likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

Rights Granted by You

1. By entering this content in your application, You understand and agree that First Table Limited, anyone acting on behalf of First Table Limited, and First Table Limited licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, the Winner's name and the details of their application, excluding personal contact details associated with the application.

Privacy Policy

2. This competition hosted by First Table Limited is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.

Other General Terms

1. Employees and immediate family members of employees of First Table Limited cannot enter this Promotion and are not eligible for the Prize. 
2. The sponsors reserve the right to substitute their prize offering for an equivalent or greater value if for some reason their original offer is not an available service offering within their business anymore. 
3. The sponsors reserve the right to cancel their offering if the Winner operates in a manner that is against the sponsor’s values or deems it to be detrimental to the sponsor’s brand or whose behaviour or actions are not reasonably acceptable to the standard terms and conditions of the sponsor business. 
4. The sponsors accept no responsibility for any Entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. None of the sponsors warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times during the Promotion Period.
5. The sponsors will not be liable for failure to provide (or delay in providing) the Prize resulting from any events, circumstances or causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God (natural disasters), pandemic, acts of war or terrorism, national emergencies, issues of public health and safety, mechanical breakdown, industry disputes, riots or failure of communication or power supply or voluntary or involuntary compliance with any regulation, law or order of any government.
6. The sponsors are free to promote the competition information in its public communications, including details about the Winner when announced (excluding personal contact details). 
7. By submitting an Entry, the Winner agrees to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation, including but not limited to photographs and interviews. The Winner acknowledges that their name may be published in various media in connection with this Promotion for 12 months from September 2021.
