Located in the heart of Lyttelton, Super is capturing hearts and diners' imaginations with its fully immersive restaurant that is fresh and funky. A multitude of textures and different aesthetic influences make Super an exceedingly exciting venue for curious minds. Beautiful under the pink glow of numerous neon signs, you'll find flower bowers stooping gracefully from the ceiling, intimate bistro tables, and a superfluous of buzzy personalities that are infectious upon arrival.

If you can't envision this very unique mix of cuisines, allow us to take you through their brunch menu first of all. They're taking familiar favourites like eggs benny and adding on slow-cooked pork belly with apple and fennel slaw, fried chicken with horopito agave, and smoked mushrooms with a yuzukosho gremolata. Even scrambled eggs and tofu are given the Japanese treatment, and you can find okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes) stuffed with breakfast-y bits and fresh veggies.

As for dinner, innovation wins once again with nibbly bits like Akaroa salmon with furikake and herb gremolata, smoked mushroom tempura and soba noodle salad. Bigger bites include fried chicken with Japanese pickles, their signature

cauliflower dish with miso mayo and the Super Don buri which tops sticky rice with homemade slaw, teriyaki, pickled veggies and your choice of salmon or chicken. And with the likes of Lychee Hichu and Kawakawa Whiskey Sour on the cocktail menu, NZ and Japan have never looked more delicious.
