Food was delicious. Prawn skewers, calimari, chicken wings and chicken & chips for my daughter. Prawns tasted like they had been grilled over charcoal - yum! The calimari was tender and tasty. The chicken wings were probably one of the best I've had. I chose Thai sauce and it great - not too hot but unmistakably Thai. My daughter's chicken was a surprise too. I half expected pre-frozen nibbles out of a box. But these were more like Japanese karage. I was happy to help her finish! All in all a great experience. Will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely evening at Kage. The food was super yum (the prawn skewers was delicious) and service was good. Wished we had room for dessert but a good reason to pop by again soon! Thanks Kage

Food was so delicious. The honey and soy chicken wings tasted so good. The crusted lamp rump was cooked just right. Nice relaxing place to have dinner. The Passion mandarin mocktail was so nice and it when down great on a hot day.

Amazing service from the front of house, kitchen and management. Everyone was super happy with the food, drink and dessert we ordered and reordered the pulled pork roti cannai. Great indoor and outdoor eating areas. Pram and newborn friendly.

The food at Kage is simply amazing. Wow! They have nailed the Asian fusion theme. You have to try to duck roti and the pork hoisin bao buns. Our kids loved it too, crispy calamari was a winner.

Nestled in the corner of The Brickworks this restaurant oozes "Friday beers on a summer evening" swag. The food was lovely - the pork belly a little overcooked - but edible, but the staff apologised and everything else was delicious. The fries and chicken were amazing and I highly recommend the miso-glazed salmon and salad - yum!

We really enjoyed our experience with Kage. The service was friendly and attentive. I need to eat gluten free, there was a good selection available and the kitchen was happy to make accommodations.

Worst experience from start to finish. From the waiter forgetting our order 3 times to our entrees taking 30 mins to arrive & my husbands meal coming out 5 mins later to my meal coming out 30 mins after that. The food was over priced for what it was. Very disappointing night.

It was alright. We got a couple of sharing platters and some wedges for dinner, followed by a tiramisu. Food was tasty, and dinner and drinks came out exceptionally quickly. However, afterward we waited over half an hour for someone to come back. Eventually my partner had to get up and ask for a menu to look at desserts, and only then was our table cleared. Pretty loose, considering there was hardly anyone in the restaurant.

Food is really good here!

This is the second time in a short time we've been here but first time through First Table. This time around we had the bao buns, wrap and chicken wings. All super tasty and fresh. The chicken bao buns we had this time were quite dry compared to the pork ones we had the time before. Perhaps a bit of sauce in the chicken ones would make the difference? Everything else was on point.

The other two things that I didn't like - and some might say this is nit picking - is that on both occasions we visited we were given tattered and ripped menus. Not a good first impression.

The second, which really grinds my gears, is that there is only one (non-disabled) toilet for the entire restaurant. The other toilet is for staff only. I've always thought that if the toilets are good enough for paying guest why would they not be good enough for staff?
