At Steamheads, it’s all about delicious home-cooked food and craft beer-a-thons.

You’ve probably guessed from its name that it’s Steampunk themed. Lose yourself in this Victorian world, with quirky, brass gadgets hanging off every nook and cranny, top hats hovering above the tables and rustic wooden furniture for your costumed (or not) posterior.

The menu is hearty and is full of popular favourites. The roasted chicken breast with peas and pak choi is never a bad shout, as is the mustard coated lamb loin. Mind the costume when you’re devouring their sticky pulled pork burger and there’s also a pumpkin and mushroom risotto for any veggies in the house.

Now, at Steamheads, beer is a religion! Consult the website to see what current craft beers are on tap. From Britain’s Britannia Bitter to the American ReWired Brown Ale, it’s more than a drink; it’s an experience. No worries if beer ain’t your thing. That’s what the cocktail menu is there for!

Lovely amazing atmosphere that has to be experienced to believe. The service is top notch with knowledgeable attentive staff. Food needs a bit of attention as the Panna Cotta didn’t have that Panna Cotta wobble and seemed to be almost separated. However the Lamb loin was perfectly cooked and the arancini balls were the best I’ve had. I recommend going upstairs and experiencing the craft beers on the deck as well. Absolutely recommended and will be visiting again.
