Went to Namam for the first time to celebrate an anniversary with my partner. We were greeted by the most friendly man, who was attentive throughout our time dining. We opted to share all of the food, choosing two tapas to start - the “smoked eggplant” - which was a purée of eggplant atop a rice cracker, garnished with cherry tomato and dill. These were so tasty and the perfect size. We also got the “crispy cassava” - which were cheesy and crunchy, similar to a polenta chip. We then shared the main of “fish of the day”, which was snapper. This was cooked perfectly, and the muscavado glaze was the perfect balance. Even the sautéed vegetables underneath were packed with flavour. We also shared the side of “papaya salad”, this was balanced well, fresh and packed a punch. We got two desserts - the “halo halo”, a spectacular delight as it came to us in a basin of liquid nitrogen. The flavours of ube, pandan and the berry sorbet, as well as meringue made this a combination of both kiwi and filipino flavours. We also shared the “Turon”, a banana parfait in filo casing, paired with coconut ice cream and jackfruit gel. This was my favourite dish of the night, creamy but not sickly, even the crumb on the plate was a delightful edition and gave some crunch. Overall, a great experience with exceptional food, we will definitely be returning.

Went to Nanam with my parents and my boyfriend, we ordered some tapas to start with and 3 mains to share. Each tapas dish was enough to share between 4 people, where each if us got a little tester of each. For the mains we ordered the pork hock, fish of the day and the beef cheek and they were delicious and you could taste the hint of the Philippines in each dishes. The side salads were refreshing with a bit of a zing too. We finished off with two desserts, Ovaltine and the Halo-halo. They both had a different taste and style to it, and were very delicious. Overall experience here at Nanam was very good and I would choose to come again.

Upon our arrival we were greeted promptly and the staff were all friendly especially the one who served us. The food came out fairly fast around 20mins wait for each meals. The tapas menu were outstanding (spicy pork and Taco Pao) very happy with those two. For mains (Kare Kare and chicken dish) were also very yum and generous portions. The flavours were subtle but still tasty. And their papaya salad was very unique and delicious. For desserts (Turon and Halo Halo) the Turon was spot on, very innovative and delicious! Their halo halo wasn’t the traditional Filipino one but it was still delicious too! Great experience overall!

Had an absolutely amazing first time dining experience at Nanam. The person who served us last night was exceptional and one of the most genuinely friendly people I’ve encountered in hospitality. The food itself was divine - we had an array of tapas, two mains and split a dessert. The flavours were incredible and I cannot recommend the tuna or halo halo enough. Highly recommend Nanam and will hopefully be back soon!

Amazing food and great service!

There were only 2 wait staff working when we went for dinner and both were extremely helpful and pleasant, always there to ask if we wanted to order or to take away our empty glasses and dirty dishes as we worked our way through Nanam's vibrant and flavourful menu.

The astmosphere was lovely and settled nicely on the quieter end of Takapuna's busy Hurstmere Rd.

All round great experience, highly recomend.
