A hidden gem in Khandallah - Cashmere Lounge is a relaxed eatery with the best European and Kiwi flavours in town.

Bright and open, this is the perfect place for an informal dinner with loved ones. The exposed brickwork sits comfortably next to windows that let in every inch of sunlight. And when the sun goes down, their shmoozy lighting affords it a cosy, intimate atmosphere. Best of both worlds!

You can rest assured every dish is made with the finest, local ingredients. Treat yourself to something truly special, like their tender lamb tagine with crisp polenta that gives it plenty of oomph. Alternatively, their market fish is fresher than fresh and comes with a zingy artichoke salad.

With a cellar dedicated to rare and vintage wines, Cashmere Lounge takes booze very seriously. The wine menu has something to suit every occasion and dish, which explains why it’s so long! They also serve a jazzy selection of cocktails as well as international and craft beers.

BTW, The location is right next to the Khandallah train station, making a car-less night a real possibility.

Had an excellent experience at Cashmere Lounge. Food was beautiful. We had the beef eye fillet and the venison. Both were cooked perfectly. Desserts were great as well. Easy parking. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back again.
