Price Point: Mains from $20 - $35+

Red Hill Restaurant isn’t just excellent Chinese food; it’s a symbol of good times.

A restaurant and karaoke bar rolled up into one, this restaurant is full of energetic, friendly (not to mention, musical) vibes. In keeping with its name, the restaurant enjoys a red interior, brightly lit lanterns and tables set close together to encourage a communal atmosphere.

The menu’s meaty offerings include chicken, beef, venison and lamb. Keep it classic with satay chicken and sweet and sour pork or be daring with their deep-fried venison or stir-fried diced lamb. Throw seafood into the mix with their sautéed crab or mixed seafood with vegetables. Vegetarians can enjoy a range of vegetable and tofu dishes that are packed with flavour.

Some of you might need some Dutch courage for the karaoke. Their range of wines and beers should do the trick, but if you’re after something with more pop, their Chinese inspired cocktails will have you up and singing in no time!

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was lovely, especially the orange beef, it was the best we've ever eaten We will be going back for more!

We were welcomed by the lovely waitress. Even though just 5:15,a Chinese mum and her teenage son arrived soon for hot pot. So we were not the only odd customers.
The Tender fish fillets in hot chili oil (Shui Zhu Yu) was a must-try, the serving was generous, the taste is authentic, and you got plenty beansprouts and bokchoy. For small eaters, this dish itself can feed two people! We finished it all, and even packed the sauce--hoping to duplicate the flavour ourselves at home :) Don't get fooled by the look of the dish. Even though a thick layer or chili oil, the dish is not as spicy as you imagined. So everyone can enjoy it! My kiwi friend had no problem with it at all.
The Braised pork ribs with pickled cabbage and vermicelli was OK. The fermented cabbage lost a bit of taste and texture in this stew dish. And the sour taste might put off my friend a bit. However, if you are a fan of Kimchi, this is the non-chili kimchi dish for you to try.
The only issue was unavailable dishes. We tried to order the dessert from the menu but was told no Goqi fungi soup, and red been soup. only the third item coconut sago was available. a bit disappointing. We tried a new dessert "Jelly with brown sugar and raisins", quite a nice cold dish to finish the meal
Of course, the 50% discount meant the dinner was a real bargain.
The atmosphere is vibrant. The place is filled up by hot-pot goers later. Everyone was chatting and laughing. A very pleasant night.

The pork chilli oil dumplings were to die for, wish we had ordered more! The orange beef was the standout dish for us, but we also had kung pao chicken, squid, pork belly slices and Singapore noodles and everything was served quickly, very satisfied and will definitely be coming back!

The food was excellent and the service was great. It was a delicious experience. The fried squid with chilli was so good I ordered another set. On the negative side, the area we were assigned was pretty warm - they have a heat pump with air conditioning but it was pretty incapable of cooling the whole area. Apart from that, it was a great dining experience!
