Beautiful food and great selection! Staff are top notch! Definately great for starting your evening off - can highly recommend the coffee tequila (at least I think that's what it was LOL) Love the tapas style. Will definitely be back soon! Thanks for a great night.

Loved the location, atmosphere & service. Enjoyed the variety of tapas dishes for pescetarians, vegans & meat eaters. With sundeck up the stairs you could stay all night! I'm sure we'll be back.

Wonderful dining experience at Attiqua for my birthday.

Located just above the hustle and bustle of Queenstown Mall, Attiqua can easily be missed by the untrained eye. With views across the lake with the sun setting and live band easing us into the weekend, this was the perfect spot for mediterranean-inspired tapas and drinks with friends. The menu is largely designed to share with a few larger dishes available for those wishing to go it alone.

We enjoyed a couple of the signature cocktails whilst dining and food arrived and/when ready, lovely relaxed atmosphere, highly recommend as a hidden gem of Queenstown.

Great food, great and very quick service, plus 'first table' at 8pm!! Winning! Actually able to enjoy a first table after work. Looking after the locals, great stuff

Delicious food, especially the Bites. Fabulous to sit looking out at the water and linger over our meal with the smooth and silky Soho Waiheke Island Merlot Malbec Cabernet Franc in such a cosy and ambient setting.

We started with drinks on the rooftop bar which was awesome! Great vibe up there, with a DJ and it’s own bar and heaters going to keep everyone warm. Then headed down for dinner and went with share plates - all the food was delicious! Great service and an absolutely awesome evening.

Nothing but good things to say about this place! Really cosy atmosphere with a great view over the waterfront. The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful with interpreting the menu for our uneducated taste buds. The cocktails and gins were some of the best I’ve had. The food was absolutely delicious! Great varied menu, presented nicely, and tasted out of the world. Unfortunately we were too pressed for time to check out the rooftop bar but hey, that’s a great excuse to go back!

We had such an enjoyable experience at Attiqa last night for my friends leaving meal. The service was excellent - the waitress who served us was helpful and polite, made sure we always had what we needed and knew the menus extensively.
The food was very reasonably priced (even before the discount!) and especially for the high quality and great portion sizes.
The venue itself was stylish, clean and had stunning views out the lake-side of the restaurant and lovely deck upstairs too.
Extremely happy! Thank you :)

Attiqa has a very extensive list of tapas to choose from, and each dish was delicious. I was hoping to make it through every single one, but they were generous sizes and will now have to return to try the other items on the menu as I was too full!
My favourite dishes were the calamari and the octopus. The falafel were also very tasty.
Highly recommend!

Attiqa was excellent. Have only ever thought of this place as a bar but the food was outstanding! How they churn out such tasty meals from such a wee kitchen is unbelievable. 3 friends sharing tasty tapas whilst sipping on delicious Eldeflower and Kaffir Lime gins from gorgeous glasses and catching up on the gossip is definitely the best way to spend a Friday evening. 50% off the food using First Table certainly encouraged the increase in gin consumption! Highly recommend.

As a Queenstown local, I can safely say that Attiqa provides among the best in town, both in food and beverages, with an array of different flavours all cooked and presented beautifully and thoughtfully. I’d recommend that you order a tapas straight off the menu to get you started as you browse all of the options. We opted to share a series of tapas options and all had different favourites but could agree the flavours were phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with that menu!
Highly recommend dining here at least once, the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is good, and the food is divine!

From the lady the greeted us on the door, and knew who we were when mentioning 1st table, to the staff and the chef, everyone really made an incredible experience!
The bartenders/waiters knew their drinks and what would work asking what tastes she liked and making a perfect drink for her.
The food was exceptional, tasty, fresh and filling! Even though it was tapas the dishes were amazing, and the seafood platter was perfect - scallops, squid, prawns, salmon and so much happiness!!
What a perfect place to just sit in the corner, drink some prosecco and get away from Queenstown whilst looking at the bay!! An exceptional 5* restaurant!!

Who knew this wee hidden gem was such friggin knockout?! From the chilled atmosphere hello WITH FAB LIVE MUSIC to the inspired cocktails and menu, we loved our experience at Attiqa. Will definitely be learning how to pronounce this place before booking again. Find this place people. It’ll be your new fave too! Thank you First Table. Locals LOVE YOU

Attiqa was overall a great experience. Atmosphere is classy but not pretentious; the cozy two person stools overlooking the waterfront would make for a nice date. Wait staff fit the atmosphere, and calmly worked hard. Extensive drink menu plus renowned cocktails (though not cheap ~20$ each) The best part? The food! Competitively constructed and priced for Queenstown, and a great deal with first table. Veal carpaccio was all around amazing, meat near perfect and garnishes to die for. Fried squid was cooked perfectly tender and succulent, though maybe lacking seasoning or acidity, and served with great accompanying ingredients again; aioli is bomb! Churros were cute, decadent, and very satisfying. 10/10 would do again.

From the moment we stepped into Attiqa I was impressed by the customer service. All the staff were very friendly and we were seated quickly.
Bring a Friday night, it was quite busy but our waitress checked on us frequently.
The food was absolutely amazing and we got a lot more than we expected! We ordered two platters, cheese fondue and some of the sticks of meat/cheese. Everything was delicious.. the perfect food to share amongst a group. Dessert was a highlight - definitely recommend the churros with strawberries and chocolate sauce.
Overall we had a fantastic experience at Attiqa. The vibe is great for some casual drinks and snacks, with quite reasonable prices too. Attentive and welcoming staff with a wide variety of drinks and food. We will definitely be back soon!

Amazing! Everything about our experience at Attiqa was amazing. The food was delicious, the plates are perfect for sharing and the perfect size to try a few of the tasty dishes on the menu. The service was probably the best service I have experienced with the most friendly and efficient staff. The food didn't take long to come after ordering and they made sure that we didn't sit with an empty glass. I also loved the cocktail list, they had a cocktail suited to every taste! Attiqa was the coziest, most vibrant little restaurant and loved the live music to add to the atmosphere. It was the perfect place for some dinner and a drink (or more) to unwind on a cold winters night. I am looking forward to trying the rooftop bar in summer.

Attiqa is the very genial Stefano’s upstairs restaurant right in the centre of town. There’s a great atmosphere and the food is so tasty. Stefano recommended a selection of tapas style dishes, including a gorgeous lamb souvlaki, Moroccan chicken, arancini, and squid - beautifully presented and served by the talented Sam - I’m not into cocktails, but I was impressed by the skilful cocktail juggling! And they have my two favourite drinks on tap - Mac’s cloudy apple cider and Hop Rocker beer. With the FT discount on the food it was a great evening out with our friends for a very reasonable price - and we can’t wait to go back and try some more items off the menu! Strongly recommended:)

Fantastic restaurant. Great interior and the atmosphere was brilliant. Then the food arrived it was incredible and the platter was huge! We took our kids 14 and 10 and they loved it got to try oysters and octopus. Staff were also 5 star. Will definitely be back next year.

Excellent attentive service from start to finish. We ordered the seafood platter to share, it was so good. We also chose 2 dishes from the tapas menu as we were feeling quite hungry, we had these as a starter. The mushroom arancini were delightful and the squid was perfectly cooked. All the food was superbly presented. I've already recommended to friends.

Delicious tapas - we loved all of it! A few very tasty G&Ts were consumed too - pretty cool to see such a range. We ended up on the Deck Bar upstairs (same owners) with our last bottle of wine which now has a closing roof - brilliant! Great venues - both highly recommended.

Had a great night and great food - there were 2 of us dining and we had the cheese platter which was much bigger than we expected (which is always great) and along with other sides too meant we had lots of food. What a beautiful evening, walked in and got taken to our table that overlooked the lake so that was the first highlight. We then ordered some cocktails I had the I am kiwi and my friend had the strawberry and rosemary gin both were excellent.
We didn’t know what to order for starters so we took them all, best decision as they were all tasty and got to have a bit of everything. We then decided to have the paella for two off the first table menu full fo prawns, calamari and mussels however I just felt this lacked a bit of flavor however overall good. Overall a very good girls night out with some great background music, cocktails and food oh and a great spot to do some people watching. We did headed upstairs to end the night off just a pity the music ends at 10pm. Highly recommend if wanting to have a relaxed night out with some good food and drinks.
