Overview

In its seedling days, it was a local orchard and veggie market. Since then it has grown into this neat little cafe and with a long history as the local watering hole, you'll find yourself coming back again and again.
Beautifully bright and serene, The Orchard House's dining space feels like a spacious conservatory with enough natural light that you might consider taking some sun cream! Whitewashed walls, white furnishings and towering glass doors might trick you into thinking the beach is on the doorstep. But who says that's a bad thing?
From their abundant orchard come veggies that have travelled a remarkably short distance to your plate. Taste what they have to offer for starters with their tomato and basil chowder or the vibrant carrot, orange, ginger and chickpea bitterballen that makes their home-grown produce the star of the show. And rightly so.
The theme continues into mains with the Orchard House chicken cordon bleu that comes with fries and a garden salad, the hash steak that comes with a corn, capsicum and mango salsa and crispy tofu and cashew salad that would be lost without the orchard whipping up a killer slaw and an endless supply of luscious greens.
