GPK - Takapuna

Gourmet Pizza Kitchen is a local icon just two minutes’ walk from Takapuna beach. GPK Takapuna opened in 2001, serving (you guessed it) delicious wood-fire pizzas and New Zealand favourites in a casual setting.

The extensive menu offers mouth-watering pizzas with a selection of classic and exotic toppings. Cooked in a custom-built wood-fire oven that reaches temperatures of more than 600°C, you’ll love the traditional and thin-crust bases. Devour old favourites like the ‘Country Italian’ with bacon, potatoes, caramelised onions, sour cream and chives or tuck into the exotic ‘Bombay Tandoori’ with chicken, cashews, banana, yoghurt and mango chutney.

Don’t fancy a pizza? No worries, tuck into a tasty chicken burger with avocado and bacon, pea and parmesan risotto or 220g sirloin steak with wood-fired potatoes.
