My father & I had an early evening dinner at Flying Burrito Brothers in Albany & had a really nice evening. The staff were very attentive & gave good advice for menu options & drinks. My father ordered the Vegetarian Chimichanga & I had the Calamari & a side Salad. For dessert my Dad tried the Dulcè Quesadilla which he raced over. Thanks for your hospitality, we look forward to the next evening out.

Just outstanding! We left feeling so satisfied by the food tonight at Flying Burrito Brothers in Albany! The food was so tasty we were in danger of eating too much! The beef tacos are sensational as was the beef burrito. The calamari was so tender and the chicken wings a delight! The food came out quite quickly and we love the atmosphere here - all in all a great weekday treat.

What fantastic food! Three of us went for the specialty - Flying Burritos - and they were delicious and filling. One of us had the ceviche, which he raved over, and a couple of soft tacos.

In spite of ourselves, we managed dessert - scrumptious cheesecake, churros with a range of sauces and, my favourite, quesadilla filled with a cream cheese sauce and tequila-soaked berries.

A good list of wines and beer held their own and lots of folk around us seemed to be enjoying the cocktails.

Hilarious wait staff - a great night all round. Hola!

Our party of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) received a warm welcome and we were pleased to be seated in a cosy booth. The decor is fun and modern, with a 'Day of the Dead' theme. Our children chose from the kids menu which waa 3 courses and consisted of child-friendly Mexican food.

The menu was extensive and all our meals were fresh and authentic in style. The adults shared a pitcher of frozen strawberry margherita, which was delicious.

This restaurant far exceeded our expectations and we have already recommended it to friends and colleagues.

The food here is so good and plentiful and the prices are excellent even before First Table. I had the fajitas and they were sizzling hot, came with plenty of tortillas and condiments. The taste was superb. The best Mexican food in Auckland! Will definitely be going again.

We had a lovely family dinner at Flying Burrito Brothers Albany. The men both had the signature Tortillas with the Hot Adobo Beef & Smoked Chicken which they found tasty, generous & filling. I had the El Calmare & a side salad which was just perfect for a light meal. Dessert for the gents was the Banana Chimichanga & the Mexican Hot Chocolate which they found delicious. The Banana Chimichanga was recommended by the staff & the guys loved it! Thanks for the great service, we will be back

Had a lovely evening, we ordered several dishes from the starters menu all of which were yummy! Food was plentiful, a good selection of drinks to choose from and a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely dine again!

Very disappointing dining experience.
It was as if the food was microwaved and served. The meat was dry and the flavour was bland.
The dessert platter was even more disappointing. The cheesecake tasted like fridge and the base was soggy, the churros were cold and the layered chocolate cake had no layers.
It appeared that others dining at the same time were also upset and didn’t finish their food.
Staff were friendly but unfortunately that isn’t enough for us to want to return.

Great service, food came out fast. But everything we had was incredibly spicy, we had to use our napkins as makeshift tissues because our noses were running, eyes watering, etc. Food was quite nice otherwise.

Had a very lovely evening at the Flying Burrito Brothers. Although we waited quite a while in the beginning for a waiter to come out to greet us, after that the service was awesome. The vege burrito and the chimichangas my friends ordered were so delicious. The calamari bites were also very tasty. We got churros and the shared plate for dessert. We throughly enjoyed both, but it would've been nice if the chocolate cake was warmed a little. Overall, we left happy and contented!

Just what we needed - a pitcher of margarita, delicious soft tacos and a decadent dessert. The service was friendly, fast and unintrusive. We sat on the balcony in the sun (quite hot!) and in spite of the road below, it felt private and relaxed. Will definitely go back again.
